Recipe: Summer Spritz
KEEP COOL (WITH MINIMAL EFFORT AND CALORIES!) THANKS TO THIS QUICK, REFRESHING AND PLENTIFUL SUMMER SPRITZER RECIPE FROM LOCAL NUTRITIONIST NADIA FELSCH
MANGO, PASSIONFRUIT, LIME & THYME SPRITZER
Time: 10 mins
600g mango flesh (3 medium mangoes)
4 medium passionfruit
50ml lime juice (2 limes)
1.5 litres sparkling water
Sprigs fresh thyme, to serve
- Blend mango flesh on high for a minute or until smooth
- Halve passionfruit to spoon seeds and juice into serving jug
- Add mango, lime juice and sparkling water
- Stir well to combine
- Serve over ice with a sprig of thyme in each glass
Should these fruits be out of season, frozen options work well (just defrost) or substitute with your favourites.
For instance, papaya or pawpaw, watermelon or berries.
