Mosman Art Gallery
Immerse yourself in the various collections at Mosman Art Gallery - featuring local, national and international artists of the visual arts, craft and design fields.
On now is Bush to Bay, featuring historical works by Charles Condor, A J Daplyn, Henry Fullwood, Lionel Lindsay, Sydney Long, Francis McComas, Tom Roberts, Arthur Streeton and H.J. Weston.
Children are invited to make their own free artwork for the Little Bohemians Art Wall in the Gallery foyer, until January 28th.

Sydney Institute of Marine Science
Discovery Centre (SIMS)
Discover the world of marine life and sciences at the SIMS Discovery Centre at Chowder Bay.
SIMS was founded in 2005 to undertake research into urbanisation, biodiversity, climate change, ocean resources and marine management.
Housed in a heritage listed building, the Discovery Centre has interactive exhibits including touch screens, models and a 3D virtual dive.
It's become a popular local destination for Mosman kids and parents looking for something a little different to break up the monotony of holiday time!

Georges Heights Headland Park
Explore Mosman’s military history at Headland Park, which is home to a WW1-era military hospital, gun pits, underground tunnels and barracks.
Formerly a lookout spot for approaching enemy ships, Headland Park has amazing views across to Manly and Vaucluse; and also features an Artist Precinct where visitors can explore 15 artists’ studios, including sculptors, painters, photographers and potters.
An added bonus? Free electric BBQs!
The Mosman Market is held on the first Saturday of each month on the Mosman Square and Village Green at Spit Junction from 8am-3pm.
Over 150 arts and crafts stalls including jewelry, handmade toys, candles, clothing, gourmet food and much more.

Take a dip at the historical MacCallum Pool, located at Cremorne Point.
Created by Olympic swimmer Fred Lane as a rock pool in the 1920s, MacCallum Pool is a unique 33m harbour side pool with spectacular views of the city, Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
It is a favourite local spot and perfect for picnics and family days out.
Note that the pool is emptied, cleaned a refilled usually once a week, so please check council website for closures.
Venture outside and enjoy the sunshine with the kids at one of Mosman’s 13 public playgrounds - or those nearby.
Featuring swings, slippery dips, pirate ships, climbing apparatus and educational equipment for all ages.
Our current favourite spot is the new and improved Forsyth Park in Neutral Bay, with a flying fox and much more to keep kids of all ages occupied!
Taronga Zoo to Balmoral Beach Walk
Take in the sights of Mosman on this scenic bush walking trail starting at Taronga Zoo ferry wharf.
Along the way, you’ll discover Athol Hall, Taylors Bay, Clifton Gardens Reserve, remnants of Balmoral’s Tramway system and historic military sites; plus native flora and fauna.
Curlew Artists’ Camp Walk
and Self-Guided Tour
Walk in the footsteps of Australian artists Arthur Streeton and Tom Roberts on the Curlew Artists’ Camp Walk.
These two artists were among a group of painters who lived and painted at Curlew Camp at Little Sirius Cove in the 1890s and early 1900s.
The walk is over 1.6km from South Mosman ferry wharf to Taronga Zoo wharf.
A must-see Mosman attraction is beautiful Balmoral Beach.
Not only a great place to spend the day with family and friends, Balmoral is perfect for swimming, kayaking, picnics or simply relaxing by the harbour.
Dining options range from fish ‘n chips to cafes and fine dining restaurants, including the historic Bathers’ Pavilion.
Kids will love the netted Balmoral Baths and boardwalk at the southern end of the beach. There is also a playground and toilets/change rooms at various locations.
