Exclusive: Say Hello To Mosman's New Rooftop Bar!

Summer has officially started, with the opening of Sydney's new rooftop bar, The Fernery - a stunning garden oasis situated right in the heart of Mosman.
The spacious, sky high venue, with sweeping views across the harbour, is now one of the lower north shore's hottest "destination venues", featuring a wrap-around terracotta terrace and a light filled indoor dining space.
The Fernery has a 360 person capacity, with a beautiful rosé bar taking centre stage - and a chic gin room, accessed via a dramatic spiral staircase offering views of North Head.
Head chefs Gavin Gray and Mitchell Davis are focussed on delivering clean and simple food, cooked wherever possible in their elegant and unique Josper (read more about it below). So expect subtle flavours, spectacular salads and sides - and indulgent desserts.
The wine list, not surprisingly, includes a delicious selection of both rosé and gin cocktails (with fresh picked herbs from the rooftop garden)- and there's Teusner Salsa Rosé available exclusively on tap ($12/glass + $30/carafe).

WHAT IS A JOSPER?
A Josper is an elegant wood-burning grill and oven in a single operation that reaches temperatures in excess of 500 degrees. It is used extensively in the Meditteranean to impart a subtle, smoky flavour from the simplicity of cooking over hot coals.

Small plates include: Organic Sourdough ($9), Wood Roast Calamari ($18), Josper Baked Camembert ($19) and a Rosé Watermelon Salad ($14)
Salads include: Josper Baked Pumpkin ($24) and a Beetroot Salad Medley ($22)
Mains include: Josper Grilled Kingfish ($28), Spanner Crab Spaghettini ($28), Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger ($22) and a Petite Lamb Shoulder ($28)
Desserts include: Ricotta Doughnuts ($16), Bombe Alaska ($16 and Black Forest Panna Cotta ($16)

Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, hickory smoked bacon, chipotle mayo with hand cut chips.
Seasonal fruit, topped with lemonade and dry ginger.

Kale, pickled fennel, grains, pomegranate, hazelnuts, fetta, honey thyme vinaigrette.
