Cocktail of the Week: The Buena

IT'S FRIDAY - AND THAT CAN ONLY MEAN ONE THING ... IT'S COCKTAIL OF THE WEEK TIME! OUR GREAT MATES AT THE BUENA ARE ON BOARD AND READY TO PARTY TODAY, WITH THIS SPECTACULAR SEASONAL OFFERING, FROM SYDNEY'S SUPERSTAR MIXOLOGIST KURTIS BOSLEY ... CHEERS!

It's been a big week for most of us, thanks to those Melbourne Cup parties on Tuesday that managed to kick off the silly season in style!

We are well and truly on the countdown to Christmas now - and that means lots of celebrating. Thankfully, we have The Buena to take care of us, with its fantastic list of cocktails that never fail to delight weekend (or weekday!) drinkers.

And when it comes to mixologists, there is simply nobody better than Kurtis Bosley, a cocktail craftsman with a huge Instagram following - who has created this one especially for us!

PEACH JULEP

40ml Bulliet Bourbon

20ml Creme de Peche

20ml Fresh lemon

Sugar syrup

Mint leaves

Barrel aged bitters to taste

INSTRUCTIONS: Fill a shaker halfway with ice. Pour cocktail mixture in shaker and mix until chilled. Garnish with mint leaves and enjoy!
