It’s always great to find a cafe that welcomes your pooch, along with a glorious location and unbelievably tasty, home-made food.

Frenchy's Cafe, just a few minutes out of Mosman village and situated at Georges Heights, is a family friendly home-away-from home, for adults, kids and pets - that's become a popular destination for both locals and visitors.

Cosy indoor seating, plenty of benches and tables outside, along with a mix of vintage planters set the scene for this standout Mosman cafe that is a true celebration of all things French.

Frenchy's coffee and lemon tarts - Mosman Collective

Owned by Australian Alene Rayrolles and her French husband Pierre, Frenchy's cafe is the perfect pit stop after walking the dog at Headland Park, with fabulous coffee, freshly baked criossants and the tastiest lemon tarts (that have acquired cult status in Mosman!)

A tempting selection of pastries and cakes tease you at the counter, but if you’re after something more filling for breakfast or brunch, try the daily specials like Eggs Benedict on a French muffin (with bacon or salmon for good measure!)

Lunch is a more substantial (and delicious!) affair, with staples like French onion soup, duck leg confit, croque monsieur and a pate board regularly delighting diners, along with Frenchy's signature tarte tartin for dessert.

With a glass of wine, Parisian tunes tinkling away in the background - and a table outside in the sunshine, this place is my idea of heaven on earth. Frenchy's is definitely one of my favourite local spots and a delightful little gem that never disappoints. Maybe I'll see you there!
