Review: Baby Charlotte, Mosman
By LISA HECTOR
Nestled amongst the stunning greenery and beautiful blooms inside Harris Farm Market, Baby Charlotte cafe offers a quiet corner to sit and take in the hustle and bustle of Mosman's Bridgepoint Shopping Centre.
Surrounded by bunches of vibrant flowers, orchids, ferns and delicate jasmine, it has to be the best smelling cafe in Mosman - featuring a quirky collection mis-matched vintage chairs, set around tiny bistro tables, a cool bar overlooking the street - and a distressed wooden table smack bang in the middle of the room!
Baby Charlotte is the Mosman incarnation of Charlotte Cafe, the clever brand built by Jason Ghebar.
Originally founded in Birchgrove back in 2007, there are also locations in Manly, Pennant Hills, Boronia Park and North Sydney.
Serving Campos coffee and a good range of cakes and healthy treats, it's the perfect place to stop and relax after your shopping. They also do a good range of filled sandwiches, croissants and tasty wraps.
Never one to turn down the opportunity to try a sweet treat, I can thoroughly recommend the carrot and pineapple cupcake and the polenta berry bar. I'll just need to run a few extra miles this week to work off all this cake eating in Sydney!
If you're after something more substantial with your morning caffeine shot, the staff at Baby Charlotte will happily rustle scrambled eggs, a warm ham brioche roll, or the Sydney staple of smashed avocado and feta.
Given I'm a bit of a sucker for all things lush and green, this cute little cafe has fast become one of my favourite finds in Mosman! If you haven't visited yet, give it a go.
